Here is an email I got at the end of January from Ryan 13's mom. This might be the most inspirational and important email I have ever recieved.

DanG;
For the longest time I thought Ryan13 was one of a kind. Well I was wrong!
I checked your Web Page out.You and Ryan13 are so much alike.You are both
so wild and crazy.
I will tell you what I told Ryan.
Parents have dreams for their Children. I would never have chosen this path for Ryan13, but it is not my choice to make.
I can be supportive no matter what Ryan13 decides to do as long as he is happy. Your life is yours.What you do with it,is your decision.
Life is precious.Be happy, have fun with what you do, but as I told Ryan13, Be careful , be safe and stay alive!

I would like to thank Ryan's mom for taking the time to write me. I read it
and I couldn't find many words to respond with except thank you. Ryan and
I no matter how crazy we get need support. There is no support that we need
more than the support of our close friends and family. It might not be the
best choice of lifestyle for us, but we have a real talent for what we do.
We are the best in the world. The only thing that would keep us down is thinking
that we are fighting so hard to get to the top and no one is there for us.
Just knowing you wish us your best in our persuit to be truly happy, gives
us so much energy. People don't realize the precautions that we take and over
the years the skills we have developed to do the stunts that we do. Yes things
do go wrong, yes we do get hurt. But we aren't throwing ourselves into just
random hazardous situations without knowing what could happen (most of the
time,) Doing the things I do -and I'm 100% positive that ryan will agree with
me here- is the only time I feel truly alive, and feel extremely happy. I
first read your email the day after our first stage show, which went intensely
well. I got off the stage and I was just like... Wow, we have created something
nothing short of amazing. Then for you to write to me and give us your best
regards just put the icing on the cake. One of the most important things to
us is to have our parents proud of us. One day, you all will be very proud
of us. It's mostly just the shock of seeing what we do, don't worry, the rest
of the world is shocked too. That's what makes us so good. I know we wont
fail at this. We can't fail at it. But even if we did, who cares, our friends
and family are there for us. I feel as though ryan is my brother. Therefore
you are also like my mother in some ways. Welcome to the family!
